This property is a huge and imposing granite building. Coloured light brown, it is a reminder of the grand architecture of Latvia's Soviet past. The lobby is large and split-level. Guest rooms are medium sized, as are the bathrooms, and are equippesd with standard amenities. Their design is what one might expect of a large, state-owned Soviet Bloc hotel, with plain colours and simple decor. The restaurant, on the ground floor, is a spacious, elegant room with light marble pillars and ornate chandeliers. The furniture is dark pine and the walls deep red.
