Traveller from Heywood stayed in November,2008

Hotel was perfect. Lovely spacious room with a good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was excellent - full English and continental available - with the added bonus that it was available until 11.00 on Sat and Sun. (Until 10.30 other days). Room was comfy and quiet, though possibly because ours faced onto the internal courtyard rather than onto the busy Jan 13 boulevard that runs down one side of the hotel. Hotel has a perfect location - on the edge of the old town but just across the road from the main station, shopping centre and the amazing market.

Top Tip:
Make sure you go to the market - talk about the land of plenty. Great place for bargains. Take a 10-minute bus/tram ride to the Lido centre for ice-skating and tasty but inexpensive food.
