The hotel is found in the centre of old Riga down a small side street. The location is perfect for discovering small picturesque buildings dating back many centuries.

This property in fact comprises several buildings, some of which date back to the Middle Ages, and has an attractive central coutyard. Wooden beams are prominent throughout the interior. The medium sized lobby is warm and welcoming. Guest rooms are relatively simple in design, their white décor contrasting attractively with the wooden floors and furniture. Bathrooms, although small, are in very good condition. The traditional Latvian "Raibais Balodis" restaurant boasts some of the finest cuisine in town.
